Fiona Ormerod

Occupational Therapist

Fiona is an experienced occupational therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Sydney in 2006. She has extensive experience working in the community, supporting NDIS participants across disability and aged care settings with a mixed caseload of children and adults.

Fiona has a strong interest in assistive technology and home modifications, supporting participants to improve safety, independence, and participation in their everyday environments. Her previous experience as a support worker gives her valuable insight into the practical and functional needs of participants, allowing her to deliver recommendations that are realistic, meaningful, and aligned with participant goals.

Known for her passion, proactive approach, and strong clinical reasoning skills, Fiona excels in problem-solving and functional goal setting. She works collaboratively with participants, families, and support networks to develop capacity-building interventions that support long-term independence and quality of life.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys travelling and spending weekends camping or four-wheel driving, as well as motorcycle riding. She also loves animals. Her experience, dedication, and participant-centred approach make her a valued member of the Rewired Therapy team.
