Mobile NDIS physiotherapy in Sydney

Rewired Therapy’s physiotherapists come to you: at home, at school, in the community or at your local hydrotherapy pool. We work with NDIS participants of all ages, from children building gross motor skills to adults working on balance, strength and safe mobility.

What our physiotherapists help with

Mobility assessments and aid prescription
We assess and prescribe the right mobility equipment, including manual and powered wheelchairs, customised walking frames, walking sticks, prosthetics and orthotics. We trial equipment with you and write the reports and quotes the NDIS needs to fund it.

Falls risk, balance and strength
We assess falls risk in the places you actually move around, like your bathroom, stairs and backyard, and build practical programs to improve balance, strength and confidence.

Hydrotherapy
Water-based therapy to build strength, mobility and overall physical wellbeing, held at your local hydrotherapy facility.

Autism Swim
One of our physiotherapists is certified in Autism Swim, a program that helps children and adults on the autism spectrum build confidence and skills in the water. Sessions are tailored to each person’s sensory needs and learning style, with consistent routines and clear communication, and we guide families on safe practice outside sessions.

Ongoing physiotherapy
Tailored programs for gross motor milestones, strength, balance, gait training and coordination, set around each participant’s NDIS goals.

Physiotherapy at school
We can work with students in the classroom and playground and share strategies with teachers. Rewired Therapy is a prequalified provider under the NSW Department of Education’s Specialist Allied Health and Behaviour Support Provider Scheme, so NSW public schools can engage us through the scheme.

Who we work with

We support NDIS participants with a wide range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injury and stroke.

Where we work

Our physiotherapists are based in Gladesville and Newington and visit participants across Sydney, including Parramatta, Cumberland, Ryde, the Inner West, Canterbury-Bankstown, Blacktown and the Hills. Not sure if we cover your suburb? Send a referral and we’ll let you know.

What to expect

Your first session is an initial assessment of 60 to 90 minutes. We talk through your goals and daily activities, do a physical assessment and set up a therapy plan. Follow-up sessions usually run for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs.

Funding

We support self-managed, plan-managed and agency-managed NDIS participants. Our fees follow the NDIS price guide and are paid from your NDIS plan.
